I have been interested in strength training and bodybuilding since I was a teenager. After spending a few years in various gyms, I finally stopped enjoying lifting weights. So I quit my gym era at the end of my twenties and looked for a new sporting hobby.

First and foremost, I wanted to get out of the overcrowded training boxes and lose the belly fat I had put on during strength training. With these goals in mind, I started learning the handstand and moved on to more advanced bodyweight exercises, which are now often referred to as the new trend sport calisthenics.

This website is meant to represent my workout log. Thereby it's title, calisthenics.monster reflects the nature of calisthenics in two ways. Firstly, calisthenics exercises can be exceptionally difficult and represent monsters that you must regularly compete against. And secondly, calisthenics will transform you into a “fitness monster” if you train continuously.
